Claire Beaird, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Optometry in 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Louisiana Tech University in 2019.
Dr. Beaird chose a career in optometry to make a lasting impact on people’s lives. She views her work as a way to invest in others, give back to the community, and provide patients with the opportunity to see and experience the world more fully each day.
What Dr. Beaird enjoys most about being an optometrist is the ability to serve her community through comprehensive eye care while also maintaining the flexibility to be present with her family.

Dr. Lavanya Tammareddi was patient and knowledgeable. In fact, while I was waiting for my turn, the patients before me all seemed very satisfied. The whole appointment felt relaxed and never rushed. Everyone was very respectful and made me feel like I was in good hands.
